How to use Bantay

The fastest way: install the Bantay Android app and share any product link straight from Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, Facebook Marketplace and more. One tap and you get a Trust Score.

The mobile way — share, don’t copy

1. Install the Bantay app

Get Bantay from Google Play. Once installed, Android lists it in every Share menu alongside Messenger, WhatsApp and the others.

2. Tap Share in any shop app

In Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Facebook Marketplace, Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Shein or Temu, open the product and tap Share. Pick Bantay.

3. Read the Trust Score

Bantay loads the listing, checks the seller, the reviews and the price, and returns a 0-100 Trust Score with red flags and a recommendation.

Why we limit free scans

Bantay is free, and we want to keep it that way for most people. But every scan costs us real money. We load the product page, extract the listing and send it to a large language model that returns the Trust Score. Each scan costs us around ₱0.03 in AI credits plus scraper bandwidth.

To stay sustainable, we cap free users at a few scans per day. If you need more, Bantay Premium unlocks unlimited scans and supports the fight against counterfeit products in the Philippines.
